After leaving the gypsy, they wandered down past the Cathedral. The gothic architecture was lit for a picturesque haunted building. Beautiful and imposing. The images of saints dimly backlit by the interior lighting, like spirits looking down on the couple. As they passed through the alley the light from of the front of the cathedral was swallowed by the shadows. An eerie glow remained as the fog drew thicker in the streets behind.
They felt alone.
They weren’t.
